Bee Keeping

dsc_0492 At Sonnenlehen we have several Bee Keepers within close proximity to our property. One of the beekeepers keeps a few beehives on the north end of our property. He has agreed to give anyone interested in learning more about Bees and other insects that pollinate trees and crops free Beekeeping tours. He will tell you about the life cycle of bees and how they live and work. He will show you the hives and how bees live in them. He has also agreed to give a small jar (approximately 200 ml) of his honey produced right there for free to any one taking the tour.
The honey is excellent and a teaspoon a day will help allergy sufferers adapt to any local pollen and help strengthen your immune systems. It is the highest quality natural un pasteurized local honey. dsc_0493
